When all the world is failing,

And the darkness quickly gathering,

When giving up the fight seems timely,

and all you see is void.

In a world of darkness gathering,

and cold and frosty death.

No lights to shine or warm you.

Its perhaps timely to realise.

Sometimes that light is you.

And the reason for darkness encroaching

is that you are not alit.

Take heart O' little candle

For,

in the darkest night,

a simple light,

can smite the mightiest gloom.

Such is hope,

that all Man quiver.

And rise from beaten ground.

For heart, for hearth.

For rememberance of Good.

Spirit will not be sundered.
